Taken in Agadir, Morocco.

The words are written on a hill on the site of an earthquake which pretty much demolished the old city. I didn't get an exact translation, but it's something along the lines of "god is good" written in arabic. I was really pleased to get the mooon in the shot too, had to rest my camera on a bin to get a decent exposure, but i'm pleased with the results.

The words are written in white stones on a hill, with lights above them to illuminate them at night. The hill looks out to see, and is visible from most places in the city centre.

Canon 350D, 18-85 IS USM, CPL.

Raw conv. sharpening, crop and frame in cs 3 beta, no other work.

Wow, this is really striking. And a testament to their belief system, as from a tragedy comes their devotion. The different cultures of the world and the way they express themselves amazes me. Lovely shot. :aww: :heart:
